Lori Canare's Bread Pudding Pudding: 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 3 tbs butter 2 cups milk 6-8 hot dog buns 1 tbs vanilla Sauce: 1 stick butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup heavy cream whiskey or rum Beat eggs, butter and sugar until well blended. Add milk and vanilla. In a greased casserole dish, layer broken hot dog bun pieces. Pour egg mixture over and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. For sauce: melt butter in sauce pan. Add sugar and cream. Stir until blended. Add desired amount of whiskey or rum. Stir on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
